Tester and Quality Assurance Analyst, Health Care

Overall Position Description

Gevity Consulting Inc. is looking for an experienced Tester and Quality Assurance Analyst with previous experience with a variety of clinical software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides input into the creation of Quality Test Plans
  • Responsible for creating and executing test scripts from specified project requirements
  • Writes and maintains test results data
  • Responsible for communicating test issues to test team lead and for reporting on test plan progress and status to the Project Manager and/or Team Manager as appropriate.
  • Ensure quality and output of projects
  • Working with the other members of the QA team, determine project risks and establish mitigation strategies
  • Other duties as assigned  

Skills/Qualification Required

  • Certified Test Manager (CTM) designation is desirable
  • 10+ years previous experience testing software applications
  • 5 years’ experience in the development and execution of test scenarios, scripts and cases that demonstrate conformance to functional and non functional requirements in a healthcare setting.
  • 1 year of experience testing radiology and picture archiving solutions.
  • 3 years’ experience developing detailed testing plans.
  • 3 years’ experience documenting and managing business, stakeholder and system requirements for review and approval
  • Previous experience with: Allscripts products (Sunrise registration, emergency care, clinical EPR); Agfa RIS/Agfa PACS; and Client Registry
  • Prince2 Certification
